PROJECT portfolio!

Welcome to my design portfolio. I’m an interaction designer who explores the space between 'what if' and 'how it works.' From developing sensory-based wearables that challenge our perception of virtual reality to crafting visual narratives for high-circulation publications, I focus on blending technical research with human-centered creativity. Take a look around—everything here is built to be experienced.

Better Than Reality

This project is a time-bending archaeological VR experience set in the Elephanta caves on Gharapuri Island. It utilizes VR to reconstruct ruined artifacts, allowing users to visualize their original state before destruction.

By combining interaction design with photogrammetry, I aimed to bridge the gap between historical preservation and immersive storytelling. The result is a digital restoration that turns a static ruin into a living, interactive history lesson.

Spotify Pass

Spotify Pass is a speculative project that bridges the gap between digital streaming and real-life social encounters. The system visualizes music data based on the people you physically pass by during your daily commute, creating localized, ephemeral playlists.

This project explores social computing and graphics visualization to show how music can serve as a connective tissue in urban environments. It turns passive data into an interactive, "whimsical" experience that encourages users to connect with their surroundings in a new way.

Sir-Lies-A-Lot

Sir Lies A Lot is a 2D Metroidvania where the hero solves the bizarre, comical problems of monsters instead of slaying them. It flips traditional gameplay mechanics to focus on narrative and humorous interaction.

The project showcases skills in game design, storytelling, and illustration. It’s a creative take on the genre that prioritizes empathy and wit over combat.

Minerva

Minerva is an inclusive marketplace where student artists can sell original artwork or print their designs on merchandise like T-shirts and notebooks.

The project involved extensive user testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure a seamless buying and uploading experience. The design process focused on user research, UI design, and UX strategy. It addresses the specific needs of a student community, balancing functional e-commerce with a creative showcase.

Parcel Pals

Parcel Pals is a hypothetical feature for PostNord that connects neighbors into delivery pool groups. It encourages community coordination to manage deliveries more efficiently and sustainably.

This service design project focuses on UX strategy and the "social computing" aspect of logistics. It turns a solitary task into a collaborative community effort, reducing delivery friction.

HearShot

Designed for the Paralympic sport of Goalball, this device makes training more accessible for blind and visually impaired athletes. It utilizes motion sensor technology to integrate sonification into training sessions, providing audio-spatial cues for the players.

The focus of this project was inclusive design and the practical application of haptic and sound computing. It transforms motion into meaningful audio feedback, allowing for a more intuitive and independent practice experience.

Wink & Wave

This project is a comparative study exploring multimodal control in video games, specifically comparing gaze-based and gesture-based interactions. We developed a 2D maze-like map where users guide a character to test effects on usability and immersion.

The study is rooted in academic research and interactive media technology. It provides data-driven insights into how different input methods change the way we feel connected to a digital character.

Fatal_Error.exe

This is a performance art-inspired website designed in the style of the early internet, complete with weird pop-up ads. Users are challenged with a "Russian Roulette" mechanic where one file download might contain a harmless virus simulation.

It is an experiment in critical approaches to technology and web history. The project uses retro design and high-stakes interaction to provoke a reaction from the user.

Great Wall of Textures

This interactive museum exhibit raises awareness about the traditional process of block printing through a tactile experience. It features a wall built from laser-cut patterns that participants can use to create impressions on paper or cloth by smearing paint.

The exhibit blends traditional craft with modern fabrication techniques like laser cutting. It encourages visitors to engage in a hands-on, messy, and creative process to learn about cultural heritage.

A Tale of the Sari Weavers of Maheshwar

This project is an ethnographic documentary that explores the daily struggles of the weaver community within the Rehwa society. It resulted in a 15-minute film that uses interviews and visual storytelling to shed light on a lesser-known craft.

The work highlights skills in ethnography and user research. It demonstrates an ability to translate complex human experiences into a compelling narrative format.

Guardian Angel

This parental safety app manages the entire school bus commuting experience for parents, bus workers, and school managers. It features tailored interfaces for different user groups to track and manage children's daily travel safely.

The project demonstrates a multidisciplinary approach to service design, covering everything from ethnography to interface design. It solves a high-stress logistical problem with a human-centered, reliable digital solution.

Marrive

Marrive is a comprehensive destination wedding app designed to transform the high-stress planning process into a seamless digital journey. The platform takes a service-design approach, managing every logistical detail—from venue selection to vendor coordination—required for a couple's special day.

Our focus was on building a multidisciplinary UX strategy that balances complex task management with an aesthetically refined interface. It is an exercise in creating user-centered digital experiences that remain intuitive while handling massive amounts of data and user requirements.

Chroma Sonare

Chroma Sonare is an Arduino-based musical instrument that translates colors into sound. Using a color sensor to scan RGB values, the device converts visual data into corresponding musical notes like do, re, and mi.

This project is a study in multimodal interaction and creative electronics. It offers a playful, tactile way to interact with the environment, turning a physical palette into a digital symphony.

BicepBuzz

This wearable system combines a flex sensor with haptic feedback to assist with fitness monitoring. It is designed to help users maintain better positioning and form while ensuring consistency across exercise sets.

By providing real-time tactile corrections, the project reduces the need for constant screen-checking during a workout. It serves as a personal, haptic coach that integrates seamlessly into a physical routine.

Ohm-rigami

Ohm-rigami is an experiment in interactive pop-up origami that uses basic circuitry to enhance storytelling. By integrating electronics into the folds of a book, the act of opening a page or moving around elements triggers narrative events.

This project explores tangible interaction and the "magic" of analog-digital hybrids. It turns a traditional medium into a responsive platform where every fold contributes to the story.

Kingdom messengers

Set in ancient Greece, Kingdom Messengers is a tabletop RPG and card game that utilizes a branching narrative driven by character choices. I designed the tabletop mechanics to ensure that every player's decision significantly alters the progression of the story.

The project showcases a blend of traditional game design and narrative illustration. It demonstrates my ability to build immersive worlds from scratch, using physical components to deliver a deep, interactive storytelling experience.

Swiggy Watch

This project adapts the popular Swiggy food delivery app for the constraints of a smartwatch. It focuses on streamlining choices and delivering essential notifications to the wrist for a more convenient user experience.

Designing for wearables required a deep understanding of interface visual design and information hierarchy. The result is a compact, efficient version of a complex service that fits the "glanceable" nature of a watch.

Psychologist’s Corner

For this freelance engagement, I developed a comprehensive digital and visual identity for a professional psychologist. This included designing the marketing strategy, social media assets, and a primary website focused on creating a safe, welcoming digital environment.

The project required a sensitive application of typography and color theory to establish trust and professional authority. I leveraged my background in UX strategy to ensure the website was as functional as it was empathetic, allowing clients to find information and book services with zero friction.
