Ready Player Breathe

DESIGNING HAPTIC BREATHING FEEDBACK FOR IMMERSIVE VR EXPERIENCES

Can a wearable that mimics the rhythm of breathing make Virtual Reality feel more real? Ready Player Breathe explores the boundary of embodiment by using a custom-built pneumatic haptic vest. By simulating the physical expansion and contraction of the chest, this project investigates how 'feeling' a virtual character’s breath can deepen a user’s sense of presence and emotional connection.
