Addressing the growing environmental crisis beyond our atmosphere, this article highlights the "Kessler Syndrome"—a theoretical scenario where the density of objects in low Earth orbit is high enough that collisions could cause a cascading effect of further debris. It details the sheer volume of man-made junk currently being tracked, such as approximately 35,150 objects by the Space Surveillance Network, and discusses potential international solutions like ESA’s "ClearSpace-1" mission to actively remove debris.
